Booking FAQ

 

Is Our Wedding Date Available?

Contact our business manager to find out if we have your date available.


How soon should we book with you?

It is suggested that you book 6 months to one year prior to your wedding date to increase the chances that your date is available.


How do we book our date?

Choose the package that fits your needs and contact Karla, our business manager, by phone or email to reserve your date. Karla will write up a contract and collect your deposit at that time.


How much is the deposit?

The deposit amount is one third of the package price.


Is the deposit applied to the total package price?

Yes, your deposit is applied to the final amount due for the package you selected.


When is the deposit due?

The deposit is due upon booking. This along with your signed contract reserves your wedding date with us.


What does the contract entail?

The contract is a written agreement that reserves your wedding date, outlines your package, the pricing and provides information about our services, delivery and the terms agreed if there is a cancellation.


When is the final balance due?

The final balance is due three weeks prior to your wedding date. The business manager will send you an email reminder at that time.


What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time we accept check, money order and cash. To keep our prices lower we do not accept credit card at this time, but we are considering this for the future.

Where can we view the available photo and video packages?

All of our packages can be viewed on our website under pricing.


Do you offer customized packages?

Yes, we do. Please contact our business manager with questions and for more information.


What is included in my photo, video or bundle package?

On our website photo, video, and bundle packages are listed under pricing, each package is detailed there.


What is a documentary film?

A doc film is a multi-camera edit of your full day’s events. It starts with a full length ceremony and covers the entire reception. We recommend the ultimate package option for this as it adds another perspective to the film.


What is a highlight film?

A highlight film is an artistic representation of your story which is generally around 5 minutes depending on your package. It tells your story, shows emotional and important moments and is set to music. These are very popular and people love sharing them on social media.


How is the music chosen for our highlight video?

Our creative director goes through all of the footage and selects songs that fit your vibe, energy and help add to your story. We spend a lot of time on this part of the process as it makes a huge difference in the final product.

Engagement Photo FAQ

 

Can we add engagement photos to a package that does not include them?

Yes, you can add engagement photos a la carte for $250.


What location should we choose for our engagement session?

Rochester has many beautiful locations for engagement sessions. We are happy to offer suggestions if you are having a difficult time choosing.


How long is the engagement session?

An engagement session typically last 60-90 minutes.


What should we wear to the engagement session?

We suggest looking at pinterest for outfit ideas. Many couples bring two outfits to the session one casual and one more formal.


Can we bring props to our engagement sessions?

Yes, if you would like to include props in your shots you are more then welcome to bring them. Pinterest is an excellent place to find ideas. Here are some of the common props our couples bring: picture frames, & or + signs, chalkboard & chalk, a framed sign for save the dates, glasses and champagne, a blanket.


Can our fur baby be a part of our engagement photos?

Yes, many couples have brought their dog to their engagement session. We recommend bringing a friend along to stay with your dog while we are capturing photos of just the two of you.

Wedding Day FAQ

 

How do we give you our wedding day schedule?

Karla will email you a list of itinerary questions two to three weeks prior to your wedding date. We ask you to provide as much detail as possible as it helps us prepare for capturing your day.


How much time should we plan for photos?

We recommend two hours, especially if you have a bundle package and multiple locations. It is important to take travel time into consideration when scheduling your day.


Who will be shooting my wedding?

One of our three lead shooters, Darryl, Amelia or Karla, depending on the package you have booked. If your package includes more than one photographer or videographer one of our talented assistant shooters will come along with the lead.


If there are last minute changes to our itinerary how should we let you know?

Karla will email you the lead shooters cell phone number prior to your wedding date.

Final Product FAQ

 

When can we expect to receive our photos and/or video?

Our delivery times of the final product depend on the package you booked and are outlined in the contract. Typically a photo only package is 6-8 weeks, video only package is 8-10 weeks, 10-12 weeks for bundle packages.


Can we order additional photo albums, Dvd’s or flash drives for our family?

Yes, you can. Please contact Karla to order and for pricing information.
